Does Verifactu affect my gym?
Fully. From 1 January 2027 (companies; sole traders 1 July), every invoice and every POS receipt must be a chained record with hash and QR code. On 5 October 2026 the Treasury announced it intends to postpone those dates to October 2028; until that is published in the Official Gazette (BOE), the 2027 dates stand. DEPORSET's charges are issued by an engine that already complies, tested against the tax agency's official vectors.
My coaches invoice me as freelancers. Is that legal?
It depends on reality, not paperwork: if the centre sets their schedule and owns the clients, the Inspectorate declares it employment without needing a court ruling — €3,750–12,000 per worker plus four years of contributions. DEPORSET includes the risk checklist at onboarding and, in Catalonia, verifies the ROPEC register.
Can my company use volunteers at aid stations?
No. Spanish law reserves volunteering for non-profits: a company with "volunteers" faces disguised-employment findings. The lawful route is co-organising with a non-profit club that brings its own volunteer programme — and DEPORSET documents it that way in the event file.
What do I need to organise a road race?
Authorisation requested at least 30 days ahead (town hall, region or traffic authority depending on the route), liability insurance and accident cover for every participant — without them the race cannot be held —, a minimum medical deployment that grows with entries, a safety plan and correct handling of runners' data. Are my membership lock-ins valid?
